After practice last night I tried to get everyone's jersey #'s written down but I did miss a few.  If your child has one of these #'s (1, 2, 4, 5, 7), please send me an email and let me know which # your child has.

Lakeview Inn & Suites

I have reserved a block of rooms at the Lakeview Inn & Suites for the Gimli Tournament on Dec. 11 & 12th.  If you would like to book a room you can call: 1-877-355-3500.  Please tell them that you are booking with the Carman Cougars Hockey Group. These are the rates:

• Non-smoking Double room (2 double beds) - $89.00 + tax/per night
• Non-smoking Suite (1 king in seperate room with pull out couch) - $109.00 + tax/per night

The cut off date for booking rooms at this rate is November 15, 2010, so please book your room before then.  I have also reserved a hospitality room for us all to use (eat supper, play games, etc.).

Hello everyone and welcome to the Carman Novice 1 Blog!  Please check here often!!

This is where I will post all our new events/practices/changes.  On the right hand side there is a link to the "Novice 1 Calendar of Events".  This will bring you to a calendar that lists all of our upcoming practices and tournaments.

As of today, these are our scheduled practices:

• Friday, October 22.  4:45-5:45pm
• Saturday, October 23rd.  12-1pm

I am currently working on getting more ice time before our tournament which will be on November 13th!  I will go over a few details regarding our tournament at Friday's practice.

These are the tournaments we will be attending:

• Saturday, November 13th - Carman
• Saturday, November 27th - Notre Dame (pending confirmation)
• Saturday, December 11th and Sunday December 12th - Gimli

I am waiting on a response from Lakeview Inn and Suites for rooms in Gimli.

The Tuxedo Outdoor Tournament organizers are not sure they will host a tournament this year.  I will contact them in about a month, which is when they will have decided whether or not to have the tournament.

Reminder to Coaches:  Please remember to get a Criminal Record Check done at the RCMP detachment.
